Juventus completed a double transfer swoop on Sunday, securing Bosnian teenager Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen and finalizing the permanent return of French striker Randal Kolo Muani. The 18-year-old Alajbegovic, who enjoyed a breakout campaign with Red Bull Salzburg, joins the Italian side on a five-year deal. Leverkusen facilitated the move by activating a buy-back clause with Salzburg before selling the winger to Juventus for 30 million euros, equivalent to approximately 34.6 million dollars. Alajbegovic recently gained international prominence after appearing in all four of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s matches during this summer’s World Cup.
The club also confirmed the permanent arrival of Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, marking his return to Turin following a loan stint during the latter half of the 2024-25 season. The forward, who signed a five-year contract, commands an initial fee of 38 million euros, which could eventually reach 50 million euros through performance-related bonuses. Kolo Muani had previously joined PSG in 2023 for a reported 75 million euros but struggled to meet expectations, recording 11 goals across 54 appearances.
Following his time in Paris, the striker endured a difficult spell at Tottenham last season, where he managed only five goals in 41 matches as the team narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League. Juventus will look to revitalize the forward’s form as he begins his second tenure with the club.
