Last year, the inaugural edition of the Global Super League (GSL) was held with five teams representing five different franchise T20 leagues. The second edition of the tournament is set to begin on July 10 in Guyana, and three teams have already announced their squads ahead of the competition.
Guyana Amazon Warriors, Hobart Hurricanes, and Central Stags have unveiled their squads, while the defending champions Rangpur Riders are yet to make their announcement.
Bangladesh’s Tanzim Hasan Sakib, who represented Guyana Amazon Warriors in the previous edition, has not been included in their squad this time. However, the team has announced a strong lineup featuring several international stars, including Imran Tahir, Moeen Ali, and Shimron Hetmyer.
The other three overseas players in the squad are Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Dwaine Pretorius, and Mark Adair.
The Hobart Hurricanes squad includes four overseas players: Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Nawaz, and Odean Smith.
