Bangladesh Football Federation Begins Talent Selection Process with 49 Players Trial

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has taken a significant step in scouting new talent for the national football setup. The three-day trial for 49 footballers concluded on Tuesday at the National Stadium, marking the start of a rigorous selection process.

BFF’s Technical Director, Saiful Bari Titu, described the trials as just the beginning. “This is the first phase. The process will further advance once these players are tested against the ones already integrated into the national system,” Titu explained.

The trials aimed to identify promising players who could bolster the ranks of Bangladesh’s national and youth teams. Coaches and selectors closely monitored participants’ skills, fitness, and tactical understanding over the course of the camp.

The next phase will involve pitting these trialists against existing national players, providing a comprehensive evaluation of their readiness for higher-level competition.

This initiative reflects BFF’s commitment to strengthening the national football structure and developing homegrown talent capable of competing on the international stage.

Fans and football enthusiasts eagerly await the next steps in the selection journey as Bangladesh looks forward to building a competitive squad for upcoming regional and international tournaments.
