Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman was sold to Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. 9.20 crore at the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The left-arm pacer, renowned for his cutters, was with Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025 after being signed as an injury replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk.

The 30-year-old boasts an impressive T20 record, with 387 wickets from 308 matches at an economy rate of 7.43.

Since his debut in 2016, Mustafizur has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. That year, he was named Emerging Player of the Tournament, becoming the first overseas player to win the award.
