The 28th edition of the red-ball National Cricket League (NCL) is set to commence on October 3. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released the full tournament schedule and the final squads for all eight participating regional teams on Friday. Over the course of the tournament, eight divisional teams will compete in a total of 28 matches spread across seven rounds.
Matches are scheduled to be played at five major venues: the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, the Khulna Divisional Stadium, and the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium.
The competition follows a structured timeline, starting with the opening round on October 3. The second round is set for October 10, followed by the third and fourth rounds on October 17 and October 24, respectively. The fifth round will begin on October 31, with the final two rounds scheduled to take place on November 7 and November 14.
The team rosters for the participating divisions are as follows. The squad led by captain Mohammad Mithun includes Anamul Haque Bijoy, Azizul Hakim Tamim, Imranuzzaman, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Samiun Bashir Rabul, Kalam Siddiqui Alin, Nahidul Islam, Sheikh Parvez Jibon, Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Tipu Sultan, Rakib Hawlader, Sajor Ali, Abdul Halim, and Mehedi Hasan Rana.
