The match turned into a goal fest but neither side could claim victory. Inter Miami played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against San Jose Earthquakes in their latest Major League Soccer fixture. Just days earlier, Miami had suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Minnesota and once again, they dropped points. Superstar Lionel Messi failed to find the net in this match.
The game was electric from the start. In the very first minute, Maximiliano Falcon gave Miami the lead. But within two minutes, San Jose responded as Colombian forward Cristian Arango equalized. In the 37th minute, San Jose went ahead with a goal from Lletget.
The first half saw two more goals. In the 44th minute, Tadeo Allende leveled the score for Miami but San Jose struck again in stoppage time through Ian Harkes to lead 3-2 at halftime.
Miami responded early in the second half with Allende scoring his second goal in the 52nd minute to make it 3-3. Despite chances for both teams, no further goals were scored and the match ended in a draw — with both sides settling for a point.
