Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has officially been cleared to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after joining Delhi Capitals midway through the season. The franchise confirmed his inclusion on May 14, but questions arose regarding his availability due to NOC (No Objection Certificate) issues.
However, those concerns have now been resolved.
The IPL resumes tomorrow after a temporary suspension, but Delhi Capitals’ first match is scheduled for May 18, and they will have Mustafizur available for that game. The left-arm pacer has received NOC from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to play in the IPL from May 18 to May 24.
The BCB confirmed Mustafizur’s clearance through an official statement released earlier today.
