Ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup, Bangladesh and Pakistan had initially agreed to play two ODIs and five T20Is as part of a format-adjusted series. However, due to changing circumstances, the number of T20I matches has now been reduced. While reports emerged earlier about a shorter series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed the updated schedule.
The revised series will now consist of three T20 internationals, all to be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium between May 28 and June 1. The first match is set for May 28, followed by the second on May 30 and the final game on June 1—all at the same venue.
Bangladesh is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on May 25. Under the leadership of Litton Das, the team will conduct training camps over the next two days. All matches are scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM local time (9:00 PM Bangladesh time).
The PCB has expressed hope that the upcoming T20 series under the floodlights of Gaddafi Stadium will deliver thrilling cricket action.
