Bangladesh Confirms Three-Match T20I Series Tour to Nepal for

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Wednesday, September 16, that its men’s national cricket team will travel to Nepal in March 2027 to participate in a three-match T20I series. This confirmation follows an earlier report by that the BCB was developing plans for the tour after receiving a formal invitation from the Nepal Cricket Association.

Diplomatic Discussions and Scheduling

Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari, met with BCB President Tamim Iqbal on Wednesday to discuss the tour and long-term cricketing cooperation. This meeting followed initial talks between the State Minister for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Md Aminul Haque, and Nepal officials. The matches are scheduled to be hosted in Kathmandu on March 26, 28, and 30, 2027. The report also notes that earlier reported BCB is chalking out a plan to tour Nepal in 2027 after the Nepal Cricket Association invited them.
