The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has nominated cricket analyst Syed Abid Hussain Sami as a Cricket Advisor to the President’s Advisory Committee.
In a letter issued on Thursday, BCB boss Aminul Islam cited Sami’s “distinguished expertise in cricket development” as the reason behind the appointment.
Sami, also a former First Division cricketer and CEO of On Field Sports Management, is widely recognised for his in-depth analysis across television and digital platforms.
The BCB expressed confidence that his insights will strengthen strategic planning and development within the board.
