Rumana Seeks Justice from BCB

by Sports Desk

Once a regular face in the Bangladesh national women’s cricket team, Rumana Ahmed has been absent from the squad for the past three years. Now, she has taken to social media, accusing the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) of destroying her career and has publicly appealed for justice.

On her official Facebook page, Rumana addressed an open letter to the BCB, writing:
“To the honorable guardians of BCB, whether I play or not, such unethical and chaotic behavior cannot continue. Please give me a final resolution. Three years without a reason is no joke. I have never played poor cricket, nor have I done anything unethical. Seniority should never be treated as a curse. I demand justice against those who destroyed my promising cricket career.”

Rumana, now 33, has been a part of Bangladesh’s international cricket setup since 2011. She has played 50 ODIs and 87 T20Is for the country, scoring over 800 runs in both formats combined. She also has 125 international wickets to her name.
