Mahbub Anam Appointed Chairman of BPL Governing Council

In a significant development for Bangladesh cricket, Mahbub Anam has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) governing council. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the decision ahead of the next edition of the country’s top franchise T20 tournament.

An experienced cricket administrator and former BCB director, Mahbub Anam takes over the reins with a mandate to strengthen the structure, operations, and branding of the BPL, which has grown into one of Asia’s most watched domestic leagues.

BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon welcomed the appointment, saying,
“We believe Mahbub Anam’s leadership and administrative experience will help take the BPL to the next level.”
