Naim Sheikh reached his third first-class century before retiring hurt after scoring 131 off 215 balls. Zisan Alam contributed 81 before falling to Nasum Ahmed, while captain Mahidul Islam remains unbeaten on 32 alongside Marshall Ayub, who is also nearing a century on 80 not out.
In the match between Rajshahi and Khulna, Rajshahi was bowled out for 119 in just 1.5 sessions. After Safar Ali struck early, Mahedi Hasan dominated with a 6/38 spell. In response, Khulna reached 108 for 1 by the close of play, with Azizul Hakim unbeaten on 55 and Enamul Haque dismissed for 22.
Barishal recovered from a precarious position against Chattogram to post 282 all out. Moin Khan led the recovery with a brilliant 97 from 113 deliveries, falling just three runs short of his second first-class century. Jawad Abrar added 63, while Hasan Murad claimed 4/85 for Chattogram. Chattogram openers Sadikur Rahman and Mahmudul Hasan navigated the remaining time to reach 72 for 0.
At the Sylhet Academy Ground, Rangpur closed on 370 for 6 against Mymensingh. After an early breakthrough, Mim Mosaddek and Iqbal Hossain put together a massive 208-run partnership. Iqbal was dismissed for 78, while Mosaddek continued to post 157 before being caught behind off Azizul Hakim. Abdullah Al Mamun and Akbar Ali contributed 61 and 30 runs respectively.
