Brazil clinches 7th Beach Soccer title

by Sports Desk

While Brazil’s main football team is surrounded by uncertainty and transition, it’s a different story in beach soccer. Brazil made headlines once again by winning the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025, held in Seychelles.

On Sunday (May 11), Brazil edged out a strong Belarus side 4-3 in a thrilling final to claim their seventh beach soccer world title — the most by any nation.

Throughout the group stage, Brazil displayed dominant performances against Salvador, Italy, Oman, and Spain. Their 11-goal demolition of Oman was particularly eye-catching. In the quarter-finals, they crushed Spain 6-0 to book a place in the semis, where they defeated Portugal 4-2 to reach the final.

This championship victory comes at a time when Brazil’s national football team is undergoing significant changes. With new coaching and strategic plans in place ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, stars like Neymar and Raphinha are preparing to reignite Brazil’s dream of a sixth world title.
