by Sports Desk

Cristiano Ronaldo may never wear the Manchester United jersey again but the iconic English club is already dreaming about his potential successor—his son, Ronaldo Jr. The young talent has caught the eye of United scouts following an impressive international debut, sparking fresh interest in the rising star.

Ronaldo Jr. recently made his debut for Portugal’s U-15 team in a match against Japan. Though he didn’t score after coming on as a substitute, his playing style and skills left a strong impression on analysts and scouts alike. Much like his father, he showed confidence, speed, and excellent ball control on the field.

Manchester United scouts were present in the stands during that match. In fact, their interest in Ronaldo Jr. isn’t new—they’ve been keeping tabs on him since Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the club for a second spell.

However, the road to Old Trafford won’t be easy for United. Bundesliga clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, have also shown interest in the young forward. At just 15 years old, Ronaldo Jr. has already drawn attention from several top European clubs—an impressive milestone for any teenager.

Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his pride in his son’s debut with Portugal. Posting on Instagram, he wrote, “Congratulations on your debut for Portugal. I’m proud of you.”

The U-15 Portuguese team is set to face Greece and England in upcoming matches, where Ronaldo Jr. is also expected to feature.

Cristiano Ronaldo first joined Manchester United in 2003 at the age of 18, beginning one of the most legendary careers in football history. Now, the big question is—will his son follow in his footsteps and one day wear the famous red of United?
