Bayern Munich ended their Bundesliga season as champions in fitting style with a dominant 4–0 victory over Hoffenheim. But the match carried even greater significance—it was the final game in a Bayern shirt for club legend Thomas Muller.
The reigning German champions gave Muller a perfect send-off dismantling Hoffenheim on their own turf.
The scoring opened in the 33rd minute when French star Michael Olise curled in a brilliant free-kick to put Bayern ahead. Early in the second half, Hoffenheim’s Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric missed a golden opportunity in a one-on-one with Manuel Neuer. That moment marked a shift in momentum, and Bayern quickly took control.
A shot from Joshua Kimmich deflected off a defender and found the back of the net, doubling the lead. Serge Gnabry then made it 3–0 with a beautifully placed low drive, before Harry Kane added a fourth with his 26th league goal of the season.
Kane’s former Spurs teammate Eric Dier also made his final appearance for Bayern, with a free transfer to Monaco already confirmed for the summer. Late in the match, Leroy Sane came off the bench amid ongoing rumors about his potential move during the upcoming transfer window.
Bayern wrapped up the Bundesliga campaign 13 points clear at the top of the table finishing ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen. Despite the loss, Hoffenheim managed to end the season outside the relegation play-off zone.
