Tickets for the upcoming Bangladesh vs Singapore match were originally scheduled to go on sale online at 12:00 PM (Saturday). However, just 45 minutes before the launch, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced an 8-hour delay, pushing the sale start time to 8:00 PM instead.
Golam Gaus, a former national footballer and Chairman of the BFF’s Competition Committee—which oversees ticketing—explained the reason for the delay:
“We have a meeting scheduled. Once that is concluded, ticket sales will begin. All preparations for online ticketing are already complete.”
This marks BFF’s first venture into an online ticketing system. The tickets will be sold via the platform Tikitfy. Fans can visit tikitfy.live, where they must register using their name, mobile number, email, and national ID. After successful payment, tickets will be delivered via email. Each person can purchase a maximum of five tickets per ID.
Though the BFF had formally announced the launch of online ticketing, the sudden 8-hour delay has sparked curiosity and concern among fans about how smoothly the system will operate.
