Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s final goal of the 2024–25 season, finding the net in the 84th minute to help secure a 1–1 draw against Crystal Palace. With that goal, the Reds concluded their Premier League campaign—and Salah added two unique records to his name that no one had ever achieved before in league history.
In this season’s Premier League, Salah scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists in 38 matches. Across Europe’s top five leagues, only two players registered double digits in both goals and assists this season—Salah was one of them. His outstanding performance earned him both the Premier League Golden Boot and Playmaker of the Season awards.
In addition to leading in goals and assists, Salah was also named the Premier League Player of the Season. With this, he became the first footballer in English top-flight history to win all three major individual awards—Golden Boot, Playmaker, and Player of the Season—in a single campaign.
But Salah’s achievements didn’t stop there. He also became the first player ever to win both the Golden Boot and Playmaker awards in multiple seasons. Prior to the 2024–25 season, he had already claimed both honors in the 2021–22 campaign—another feat unmatched by any other player.
By clinching this season’s Golden Boot, Salah added another record to his name. He is now only the second player in Premier League history to win the Golden Boot in four different seasons, joining French legend Thierry Henry. Salah previously won the award in 2017–18, 2018–19, and 2021–22.
Even as most of the individual honors had already been decided, Salah secured one final record on the season’s last day. He now holds the record for the most goal involvements (goals + assists) in a single Premier League season.
With his goal against Crystal Palace, Salah reached 47 goal contributions this season. He now shares this record with Premier League legends Andy Cole and Alan Shearer. Cole achieved 47 goal involvements in the 1993–94 season, while Shearer matched that tally in 1994–95.
