Fortis FC finished their AFC Challenge League journey on a high note by securing a 3-1 victory against Tajikistan’s Regar-Tadaz. The match, held at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium in Kuwait, served as the third and final fixture for the Bangladeshi club in Group C. Despite this win, Fortis had already been eliminated from the tournament following earlier defeats against Kuwait’s Al-Qadsia (3-0) and India’s FC Goa (2-1).
The match began with a setback for the Bangladeshi side when Sherzod Makhamadiev scored in the 12th minute to put the Tajik club ahead. However, Fortis mounted an impressive second-half comeback. Raphael Odovin, Shian Kawasaki, and Shoki Ito (88th minute) each found the net to secure the win.
