Scottie Scheffler reaffirmed his dominance on June 1, winning the Memorial Tournament for his third PGA Tour title of 2025. He shot a final-round 70 at Muirfield Village to finish at 10-under 278, four strokes ahead of Ben Griffin.
“This course really exposes your weaknesses,” Scheffler said. “I’m proud of how I handled it.”
The victory follows wins at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship, making Scheffler the first since Tiger Woods to win back-to-back Memorial titles. Host Jack Nicklaus greeted him on the final green.
Griffin stayed in contention with an eagle and birdie on the back nine but faltered with a double bogey on 17, finishing second after a 73. Austria’s Sepp Straka placed third at five under, with Nick Taylor fourth.
Brandt Snedeker shot the best round of the day—a 65—to tie for seventh, while Rickie Fowler’s finish earned him a spot in July’s British Open.
