Giannis Antetokounmpo is still favored to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, but speculation continues to grow that the two-time NBA MVP could be traded this off-season.
According to DraftKings, the Bucks remain the frontrunners at -140 to have Antetokounmpo on the court for the first minute of the 2025–26 season. The San Antonio Spurs (+380) and Houston Rockets (+450) trail as potential landing spots.
The Rockets, despite falling short in the playoffs after a strong regular season, have a promising young core featuring Amen Thompson, Tari Eason, and Dillon Brooks. Adding a seasoned superstar like Antetokounmpo could make them a real title contender.
San Antonio also looms as an appealing destination, especially with emerging star Victor Wembanyama and recent acquisition De’Aaron Fox. With a stockpile of draft picks, the Spurs could make a compelling offer.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have surged to +1000 odds following a report from the Toronto Star citing “mutual interest” between the team and Antetokounmpo. ESPN added that the Raptors are “looking for a big fish” this off-season and may have the wing depth and first-round assets to make a deal work.
Antetokounmpo, 30, averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists last season but saw his Bucks exit in the first round of the playoffs for the third straight year. The Bucks’ future is uncertain, especially with All-Star Damian Lillard sidelined indefinitely after an Achilles injury. Antetokounmpo is under contract through 2026–27, with a $62.8 million player option for 2027–28.
