Corey Perry scored the go-ahead goal on a second-period power play, and Stuart Skinner made 28 saves as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 4-1 on Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Final.
Perry also notched an assist, while Leon Draisaitl scored on the power play and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins chipped in with two assists. With the win, Edmonton is just one victory away from reaching the Stanley Cup Final and can clinch the series in Game 5 on Thursday night in Dallas.
Jason Robertson scored the lone goal for the Stars on a second-period power play. Jake Oettinger stopped 29 shots in the loss.
Kasperi Kapanen and Adam Henrique each added empty-net goals in the final three minutes to seal the victory for the Oilers.
