Jurgen Klopp celebrated his first win as a national team head coach on Thursday as Germany secured a 2-0 victory over Serbia at Munich’s Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich’s Tom Bischof netted his debut international goal five minutes before halftime, and Liverpool forward Florian Wirtz doubled the lead in the 61st minute.
Elsewhere, the Netherlands fought back from a two-goal deficit to salvage a 2-2 draw against Greece. Fotis Ioannidis and Giorgos Masouras had initially put Greece in control with goals in the 23rd minute and stoppage time. The Dutch narrowed the gap early in the second half before Tijjani Reijnders equalized in the 89th minute. Greece leads the group with seven points after three matches, followed by the Netherlands with five and Germany with four.
In another fixture, Norway fell 2-1 to Wales despite taking an early lead through Oscar Bobb. Daniel James leveled the score for the Welsh before Neco Williams struck the winner, marking Wales’ first victory of 2026.
