Mohammedan Sporting Club and Bashundhara Kings maintained their strong form in the Bangladesh Football League. Mohammedan secured a 2-0 victory against PWD, taking their tally to nine points from three straight wins. Bangladesh Police also hold nine points, leading the standings on goal difference while Mohammedan sits in second place. Meanwhile, Bashundhara Kings defeated City Club 3-0 to claim their second consecutive victory following an opening draw, putting them in fourth place with seven points.

At Shaheed Miraz-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj, PWD put up a solid defensive display in the first half to keep Mohammedan scoreless before the break. The deadlock ended shortly after the restart when Souleymane Diabate found the net in the 46th minute. The goal stemmed from coordination between two Nigerian players, with Emmanuel Sunday providing a cutback from near the byline for Diabate to head home. Mohammedan added a second goal in the 78th minute through a structured attacking move, as midfielder Minhajul Abedin Rakib capitalized on a headed pass across the goalmouth from Diabate.

At Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur, Bashundhara Kings also faced a scoreless first half against City Club before breaking through in the 49th minute through combined efforts from their Brazilian players. Robson Robinho exchanged passes with Silva before striking a precise right-footed shot into the net. Emeka Ogbah extended the lead to 2-0 in the 72nd minute by converting a penalty kick. Syed Kazem Shah Kirmani added the third goal for the Kings during stoppage time in the 93rd minute.

Three additional league fixtures are scheduled, featuring Abahani against Chattogram City in Gopalganj, Arambagh against Bangladesh Police in Mymensingh, and Rahmatgonj against Brothers Union in Munshiganj. All three encounters are set to begin at 2:45 PM.
