Mumbai has announced the inclusion of Suryansh Shedge and Angkrish Raghuvanshi in their squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy fixture against Himachal Pradesh. The match is scheduled to commence on October 18 in Dharamsala. The pair comes into the side as replacements for Ayush Mhatre and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The change comes after Mhatre, appointed vice-captain for the 2026-27 domestic season, sustained a Grade 4 right hamstring tear during the match against Chandigarh. Medical evaluations indicate the injury will keep him sidelined for four to six weeks. Meanwhile, Jaiswal has been ruled out as he prepares to travel with the India A squad for their tour of New Zealand.

Shedge returns to the Mumbai setup fresh from fulfilling his commitments with India A during their recent series against Australia A. The nkolekar, Tushar Deshpande, Mohit Awasthi, Sylvester Dsouza, and Omkar Tarmale.
