Pitso Mosimane is slated to succeed Belgian manager Hugo Broos as the head coach of the South African national football team, according to an announcement made by the national football association on Saturday.
The association’s national executive committee has officially approved Mosimane for the role. However, the appointment remains subject to the finalization of salary negotiations. Association president Danny Jordaan stated, “The executive has approved the appointment of coach Pitso, but we need to tie up some loose ends. We will make a formal announcement next week.”
