Bangladesh is set to begin its campaign in the upcoming ODI tri-nation series in the United Arab Emirates by facing Zimbabwe in Abu Dhabi. The tournament, which also includes Afghanistan, culminates in the final at Sharjah on October 23. Every match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.

Action gets underway on October 17 with the fixture between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will then meet at the same venue on October 19 before Bangladesh takes on Afghanistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 21. Following the conclusion of the group stage, the top two contenders will compete for the title.

Litton Das leads the 16-member squad as captain, with Towhid Hridoy serving as vice-captain. Off-spinner Aliss Al Islam earns his maiden ODI call-up, and pace bowler Hasan Mahmud returns to the lineup, while Nahid Rana is absent as he continues recovering from an injury.

This limited-overs competition follows a hard-fought single Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi, which ended in an exciting draw from October 9 to 13. Afghanistan continues to use the UAE as its home venue for these international fixtures, with further matches against Zimbabwe scheduled after the conclusion of this tri-series.
