The Asian Cricket Council confirmed on Thursday that the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup will commence on August 28, featuring a tournament opener between Thailand and Hong Kong. The marquee group stage match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 5 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This event marks the sixth iteration of the tournament played in the T20 format. Eight participating nations are divided into two groups: Group A includes India, Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China, while Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE, and Indonesia.
All tournament matches will take place under lights at the Dubai International Stadium. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, leading up to the final match on September 13.
