Jeremy Doku has solidified his future at Manchester City by signing a new five-year contract, extending his stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2031. The Belgian winger, who joined the club from Rennes in 2023 for a reported fee of £55 million, becomes the fourth first-team player to commit his future to the club this summer, joining Phil Foden, Abdukodir Khusanov, and Josko Gvardiol in the squad’s ongoing development.

Regarding his relationship with the new manager, Doku stated, “I’m very excited to work with Enzo. He demands a lot of us offensively and that’s how I like it. So, I’m very excited to work with him and I believe me signing a new contract shows also he’s trust in me and that’s good.”
Manchester City’s director of football, Hugo Viana, praised the winger’s rapid development since his arrival. Viana highlighted that Doku’s improvement has been evident to everyone at the club, noting that his unique dynamic and specific characteristics make him an ideal fit for the team’s tactical requirements.

Other upcoming fixtures across the football landscape include various matches in European leagues, such as Hertha versus Heidenheim, Greuther Fürth against Nürnberg, and VfL Osnabrück taking on Magdeburg, all scheduled for tomorrow at 16:30.
