“He has qualities that fit well with our system and our philosophy. He is a good focal point and can be very important. I like him very much as a player. I really like Zirkzee in that regard. I think he can help the team. He has really good qualities.”

I hear Xavi talking a lot about passion and intensity,” Kraay Jr noted. “He is a wonderful, technically gifted footballer. Although Zirkzee’s recent substitute appearances for Manchester United have provided limited spark, his intrinsic technical quality remains clear. While granting him extended playing time carries tactical risks, a consistent run in the starting lineup could provide the confidence necessary to reignite his club form.
